Preview Hillsborough County's New Website at Bloomingdale Library

Citizens are invited to take a "test drive" of the redesigned website and offer their feedback on Tuesday, April 10 at the Bloomingdale Regional Library.

News report:

Hillsborough County will be rolling out a completely re-designed, interactive website later this month.  But first, the county wants residents to “test drive” its pilot site and give us feedback. Citizens will have four opportunities next week at local libraries in different parts of the county. The public is welcome to come by any time during these test drive hours.

The test drive opportunities will be held locally on Tuesday, April 10, from 6-8 p.m., 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico

At each test drive, the Communications staff will give a brief introduction to the new website; after which, attendees can try out the site in the library computer lab. After touring the website, attendees will be asked to fill out a short survey to give feedback on navigation and content, and their responses will be used to fine tune the final version of the website.

Employees from all departments have worked on this web project with the CivicPlus design and development teams over a period of seven months to make this vision a reality.  CivicPlus has designed more than 1,000 local government websites serving 36 million citizens throughout North America. Each year, CivicPlus invests more than $1.7 million to develop eGovernment solutions to gain greater public dialogue and participation in local government
