Local Parks Closed Due to Debby
Five county parks are closed due to flooding and damage from the tropical storm.

If you're thinking about spending some time at a county park this weekend, you might want to think twice.
Because of Tropical Storm Debby, the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department has closed the following parks until further notice.

- - the canoe launch and trails are closed
- - the entire park is closed until further notice
- Trout Creek Park- only the boardwalk area is closed
- Morris BridgePark - only the east side is closed
- E.G. Simmons Park- the beach area is closed due to high bacteria counts
