One of America’s most recognizable “Desperate Housewives” will make two appearances in Tampa today on behalf of President Barack Obama.
Eva Longoria’s visits are part of the “It’s On You,” early voting push by the Obama campaign. Early voting began in Florida yesterday and continues through Nov. 3 at 15 locations throughout Hillsborough County.
A total of 20,742 ballots were cast on the first day of early voting in Hillsborough, according to the county’s supervisor of elections office.
Longoria’s visits with volunteers and supporters are scheduled at the following Obama for America Florida offices:
4228 N. Armenia Ave.
- 4 p.m., Oct. 28
3105 W. Waters Ave.
- 4:35 p.m., Oct. 28
Longoria is an actress who is perhaps best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.”
