Public Meeting to Discuss Intersection

Hillsborough County will hold a public meeting April 12 at 6:30 p.m. on the proposed improvements at the intersections of Lithia-Pinecrest, Lumsden and Bell Shoals roads and Durant and Lumsden roads in the Brandon area.

The purpose of the meeting is to present the final proposed design for the intersections and receive public input.

Design is scheduled to be completed in early summer 2011, followed by the construction phase which is scheduled to begin by mid 2012. The total estimated cost of the project is approximately $9.7 million.

County staff will be at the  meeting, to be held at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 2101 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon, to discuss the details of the project and answer any questions residents may have.  Please attend; we welcome your input.
