Family Abilities Information Rally


Hillsborough County Commissioners will join the Hillsborough County Alliance for Citizens With Disabilities and YES! of American United on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the fifth annual Families Abilities Information Rally (F.A.I.R.) at All People’s Life Center, 6105 E. Sligh Ave. in Tampa.


The F.A.I.R. is a family-friendly community event for everyone and offers numerous educational opportunities for those with and without disabilities. Parents and kids can enjoy carnival games with prizes, arts and crafts exhibits, a visit with Santa, play ball with the Mystic Krew of Gasparilla Pirates and other fun activities.

More than 80 community partners will provide information on resources to help enrich, educate and empower those living with disabilities and their families, including demonstrations on sign language and Braille, and information on healthcare and transportation mobility.


Admission and parking for the event are both free. Food will be available for a donation along with raffle tickets and a silent auction.
