The East Hillsborough Democratic Club will meet Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Barnacles Restaurant, 926 Providence Road, Brandon.
Ellis Robinson of Sarasota chairs Ruth’s List Florida and will be the first guest speaker to tell the club how each member can help elect more progressive, Democratic women to office. Professionally, she has served as a consultant to nonprofit advocacy groups for more than 30 years. Also speaking will be Melissa Baldwin of the Florida Conservation Alliance and FL Vote Green. She will speak about transportation policy and more.
