Candidates Tackle Variety of Issues at Riverview Political Forum
The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce held a political forum Oct. 11.
Sixteen candidates running for local, state and federal offices had a chance to sway south county voters during a political forum held Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa/Riverview/Brandon.
The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce co-hosted the forum to educate voters. The candidates addressed a large crowd and spoke on various issues affecting the community. Although disagreeing on platform issues, the candidates were united in reminding the crowd the importance of voting in this crucial General Election Nov. 6.
Dr. Bryan Thatcher of Thatcher Properties moderated the forum.
