5 Things to Know About the Bloomingdale Regional Library

Library cards are a must-have school resource.

4. Library cards are free for Hillsborough County residents, and getting a library card is easy. Simply visit the library to apply in person, or visit www.hcplc.org and click on Get a Card for details and to download an application. 

5. Having a library card provides students the resources they need to compete academically. Many public libraries provide students access to databases of news articles, encyclopedias and test preparation materials, as well as homework help and resources. Public libraries are the No. 1 access point for free Internet, an important resource for families without Internet access at home.
