Sheriff's Office Investigating Death of Riverview Woman, 18

Her boyfriend and 16-year-old brother are being questioned, according HCSO.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating the death of an 18-year-old Riverview woman at the Madison Lakes Estates Mobile Home Park.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to 5219 Madison Lake Circle after a 911 caller reported shots fired at the residence at about 11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25.

When deputies arrived, they discovered Sara Gonzalez dead inside the home.

Criminal investigators responded immediately to the scene, but detectives had to write a search warrant and were unable to get inside the residence until about 4 a.m. Saturday morning, according to the report.

At the time of the shooting, the only two other individuals inside the residence were the victim's 17-year-old boyfriend and her 16-year-old brother. Both teens reside at the home, according to the sheriff's office.

Detectives are interviewing both the brother and the boyfriend and there have been several changes to their stories, a sheriff's office media release stated. Two weapons have been found in the home so far, according to the report.
