Riverview Motorcyclist Killed on Boyette Road

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a traffic fatality that happened at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, according to spokeswoman Debbie Carter.

Bruce A. Perry, 54, of 13609 Aspen Ave., Riverview, was driving a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Boyette Road, entering a left curve, when a 2009 Ford Fusion being driven north crossed the center lane and hit the motorcycle just south of FishHawk Boulevard.

Perry was rushed to Brandon Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, Carter said.

The driver of the fusion, Estrella C. Santana, 18, and her passenger, Colon Santana, 15, both of 13512 Small Mouth Way, Riverview, were rushed to the same hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Deputies are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
