Reward Offered for Information on Bloomingdale Smoke Shop Break-In

Someone broke into the Bloombox Smoke Shop Nov. 4.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest for a break-in at the Bloombox Smoke Shop, 873 Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, on Nov 4 at approximately 12:24 a.m., someone shattered the front window at the Bloombox Smoke Shop and left the scene without making entry.

The man then proceeded to the Mobile gas station at 936 Bloomingdale Ave. at approximately 12:30 a.m. and purchased cigarettes.

Video surveillance captured the suspect at the store arriving and leaving on a bicycle.

This time wearing a mask, the man returned to the Bloombox Smoke
Shop and gained entry through the shattered window. He removed several drug paraphernalia items, concealing them in a backpack and fled the scene.

The man returned at approximately 1:56 a.m. and stole several more drug paraphernalia items and fled.

He is white, 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 170 to 180 pounds, medium build, dark hair and beard, wearing a dark and light blue hooded sweater with bone designs, black shorts and dar-colored shoes.
