Report: Verbal Dispute Ends in Fatal Shooting

Amber Rose Baker, 19, lost her life June 5 after a fatal shot ended her domestic dispute with 23-year-old Danny Larocco. Both lived at the same address in Riverview.

 

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has identified the Riverview woman shot dead in Riverview today, June 5.

Amber Rose Baker, 19, of 6642 U.S. Highway 301, was shot during an argument with Danny Larocco, 23, of the same address, according to the sheriff's report.

He faces charges of culpable negligence manslaughter with a firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

That on June 5, just before 7 a.m., Baker and Larocco engaged in a verbal domestic dispute.

"At some point during the argument, Larocco aimed a .45-caliber revolver at Baker and discharged the firearm, striking Baker in the chest."

Detectives on the scene conducted their investigation and filed the charges after consultatin with the state attorney's office.
