New Selmon Crosstown Expressway Closures Announced
If you're heading East to the Brandon area at night, you might be detoured.
The eastbound lanes of the Selmon Crosstownn Expressway will be closed between Morgan and Whiting Streets this week, according to a press release from the Florida Department of Transportation.
The lanes will be closed at night, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, and Thursday Sept. 13.
As a detour, vehicles will be directed off at exit 6 onto Morgan Street and Channelside Drive, and will enter the Expressway again on the Jefferson Street ramp.
