Mobile Home Burns in Riverview

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue reported a post-midnight fire at a vacant mobile home in Riverview.

 

Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire in Riverview that has been vacant for a month, according to a Hillsborough County Fire Rescue report.

The report, issued today, April 4, at 2:30 a.m., notes that firefighters, arriving at 4106 Silvercrest Lane in Riverview, "found a mobile home fully involved, with exposures on both sides."

Multiple units battled the blaze.

"Neighbors reported the residence had not been occupied for over a
month," according to the report. "There was no power to this address."

Firefighters extinguished the fire "with minimal damage to one of the exposures."

No injuries were reported and the fire was under investigation.
