The accident happened Saturday night.

A 22-year-old Land O' Lakes man is dead after a collision on State Road 54 Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Kayla Ashton Ceglenski, 20 of Helena, Montana was traveling eastbound in the left turn lane at about 10:56 p.m.

When she attempted to make a U-turn, she pulled directly in front of a 2005 Suzuki GX driven by Robert Adam Szymanowski III of Land O' Lakes, according to the report.

Szymanowski was unable to avoid the collision and hit the right front side of Ceglenski's 1999 Ford Explorer, coming to a final rest facing east in the center lane of Stat Road 54.

Ceglenski had a passenger in her vehicle, Krystin Lynn Dodson, 21, of Defuniak Springs.  The FHP report did not indicate any injuries to Ceglenski or Dodson.

Szymanowski received fatal injuries and passed away at the scene of the accident.

The crash remaines under investigation.

I passed the scene of this at about 3am at 56/54. It was evident that someone had died. I guessed that it was a young guy riding the bike. I'm very sad to hear that indeed it was. I may have thought that I was in a bad frame of mind, or had a bad day, but for he and his family, it was the worst day of their lives. My heart goes out to them. Hold tight to your health and your lives. In the end, it's all you have. Most of our problems are quite small.

I passed through this area closer to 11:30. The detour had been just opened. Friends and family were just arriving at the location. When I drove by, everything was still very .... Fresh, to say the least. It's going to be a few days until I can close my eyes and not see that night again. I didn't know anyone involved, but, you're all in my thoughts. .

I did not personally know him , but i seen this accident and my stomach turned inside out immediately . It was a heartbreaking sight.I don't know why but I had to find out who this man was . I searched online for hours and it linked me to someone he worked with that I am friends with . It may sound crazy but Since then the song pumped up kicks has been engraved in my mind ( like it was one of his favorite songs or is something significant in some way ) My heart goes out to his family during this tragic time . Heaven has gained another angel.
