Burglars Strike Bloomingdale Patch Area

Be sure to lock up, and activate your burglar alarm if you have one.

That's the advice of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating several burglaries in Bloomingdale this week.

Burglars hit a home on Harrogate Drive, July 31 and on Harrogate and Queensbury Avenue Aug. 1. There also was a burglary on Isleton Drive July 28, Lithia Springs Road July 27, Rose Street July 27, Fruitwood Drive July 26 and Annadale Circle July 24.

The sheriff's office also is investigating a number of thefts in the area and encourage residents to keep their garage doors closed and their cars locked. 

Thefts occurred on Georgia Trace Avenue Aug. 1, Bloomingdale Avenue and FishHawk Boulevard July 31, Kingsford Place July 28, Alafia Ridge Ridge Loop July 28, Vermillion Way July 28, Oak River Circle July 27, Tyndale Drive July 25, Nightengale Drive July 25, Bloomingdale Villas Court July 25 and Saddle Ridge Street July 25 and Valrie Lane July 24.
