Bloomingdale Preschools on Lockdown Following Reports of a Gunman
At this time, two local preschools are on lockdown as sheriff's deputies conduct a search.
An argument overheard between two men this morning at the Bloomingdale West Recreation Center at 3940 Canoga Park Drive, Brandon, has forced the lockdown of two neighboring preschools at 3721 and 3741 Canoga Park Drive, Brandon.
According to the sheriff's office, someone overheard two men arguing. One of the men said he had a weapon, although no weapon was visible. As a precaution, the sheriff's office ordered a lockdown of two neighboring preschools until sheriff's deputies can conduct an investigation and locate the men involved in the argument.
