Bail Set at $50,000 For Teacher From Riverview Accused of Sex With Boy

Ethel Anderson, 29, a Mango Elementary School fifth-grade teacher, faces three counts of lewd battery and two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.

A teacher from Riverview accused of having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old boy was given a $50,000 bond Friday, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's investigators said the boy wasn't one of Anderson's students, but she did tutor him and would bring the boy to her Riverview residence, where they would engage in sex acts, the Times reports.

"School officials said counselors would be available Friday at Mango Elementary to discuss Anderson's arrest with students," according to the Times report.
