2 Burglary Suspects Caught in FishHawk; 3rd Remains At Large

Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies arrested two men Monday who burglarized a home in Gannet Glade.

Two men were arrested and a third is at large following a home burglary in Gannet Glade in FishHawk Ranch Oct. 15.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office received a call at 12:21 p.m. from a resident who said there were two suspicious individuals approaching doors in the neighborhood.

Deputies responded and saw three men in front of a house at 6117 Gannetwood Place, loading stolen items into a stolen vehicle.

The 2003 Toyota Corolla they were driving was reported stolen Oct. 14 from 4747 Waters Ave. W. in Tampa.

When the men spotted the deputies, they sped away in the Toyota but crashed into a fence a short distance away. The men then fled on foot.

K9 deputies tracked two of the three suspects and found them hiding in bushes approximately a half mile from where they had crashed the stolen vehicle.

The third suspect, possibly a Hispanic male, remains at large.

Stolen items were recovered from the car including televisions, laptops and jewelry.

Arrested was Randy Angel Ramos, 22, of 1917 North St. W., Tampa, who is charged with grand theft motor vehicle, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, no valid driver's license, armed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, grand theft, and obstructing or opposing an officer without violence.

Also under arrest is Michael Angelo Beriguette, 21, of 8112 Oak Trace Way B, Tampa. He is charged with three counts of armed burglary of a dwelling, grand theft, obstructing or opposing an officer without violence, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, 22 counts of robbery with a weapon, and two counts of battery with a deadly weapon.

Both men were transported to the Hillsborough County Jail.
