Services Set Saturday For Randall Middle School Student

Tiffany Laretha Harr Jones was looking forward to the Girls With Confidence second Girls Night Out. 
After attending the girls' self-esteem camps and workshops run by FishHawk Ranch resident Nancy Lemon, the 14-year-old had been serving as a volunteer at the camps this summer.

"She made such a positive impact on so many girls she came in touch with...she was kind, sweet, funny and a beautiful person inside and out," said Lemon.

Lemon said she was shocked to learn that the vivacious Randall Middle School student had died Sunday, Aug. 11 after a brief illness while visiting family in Knoxville, Tenn. The exact cause has not been determined.

"My first thought was it couldn't be true; she was coming to help me this Friday with Girls Night Out," said Lemon. "It seems that God needed this beautiful angel much sooner than we wanted to let her go and I will miss her so much."

A native of Fairbanks, Alaska, she lived in FishHawk Ranch where she was a member of FishHawk Fellowship Church, attended Randall Middle School, was active in the school band and was a mentor for Girls with Confidence.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Catrina and Todd Harr; brother, Caleb Harr; father and stepmother, Christopher and Shamara Jones; brother, Christopher Jones Jr.; sisters, Alexis Jones, Camille Harr, Savannah, Joleen and Natalya Jones; maternal grandmother, Linda Jenkins; paternal grandparents, Stan and Sis Harr; and paternal grandparents, Debra Owen and Henry Jones.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 17 at FishHawk Fellowship Church, Lithia. The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
