A memorial service for Paul Eugene Porter, 47, of Riverview will be held Thursday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview.
Formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Porter died Saturday, July 27.
He was born on Jan. 14, 1966, in Lynwood, Calif., the first son of Eugene and Carolyn Porter. He married Jodi Hakes of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and lived in Iowa for more than 20 years.
Porter is survived by his parents, his wife and his son Tyler who lives in Des Moines, Iowa, his daughter Cydney, who lives in Cedar Rapids, his brothers, Philip of Lake Forrest, Calif., and Perry of Dunedin, a sister, Pamela Mencia of Apollo Beach, and seven nieces and nephews.
