From the Director's Desk: The Regent Hosts 7 Part Concert Series

The Regent is the proud host venue for a 7 part concert series by the South Shore Symphony Orchestra (SSSO). It is such a delight to have a symphony here in the backyard of this bustling community and I hope we all take full advantage of this opportunity!  We are so proud to be able to accommodate this most talented ensemble. What a tremendous opportunity for the SSSO and our community!

All concerts will be held on Sundays here in the ballroom of The Regent. The first symphony is July 1 from 2 - 5 pm in our ballroom. All concerts will be from 2 - 5 pm and will unfold on the following days: Aug 5, Sept 16, Oct 28, Dec 16, Feb 10 and March 24.

The SSSO will perform compositions by Copland, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Puccini, Holst, and more.  We welcome Artistic Director, Dr. Susan B. Robinson.  Summer Series Tickets are $10 online and at the doors.  Winter Series tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door, if available.  Tickets are also available at the Sun City Center, Greater Riverview and SouthShore Chamber of Commerce offices (cash/check only). Student tickets are $10 at the doors with ID.  All performances are open seating.  Doors open 30 min prior to each performance.  For further details, visit www.theSSSO.org
