Local Charity is named one of 5 National Finalist-Vote for Giving Hope Through Faith!
Celebrating a wonderful, LOCAL charity that has done so much for so many! We need to support them in this national contest.
Congratulations to "Giving Hope Through Faith" for being named one of five finalists nationwide in the "Think Pink" contest sponsored by the California Giant Berry Farm. Giving Hope Through Faith supports families who are dealing with a pediatric cancer diagnosis; having lost their own precious son Zach, in May of 2006, just shy of his 9th birthday to a rare form of cancer for children, a glioblastoma multiforme tumor. They decided to give hope to other families who are facing pediactric cancer rather than retreat into their own grief and loss. Each year, they host events to raise funds. The Zach Tucker Golf Scramble is in May and the "Give Them Hope, Make Them Smile" run is coming up on October 27th at Lithia Springs Elementary.
