Introducing Wendy Nystrom, Children's Book Author

As a lover of words, sometimes it's important to convey to those around me that I not only love to write, but that love of writing stemmed from somewhere deep down.  As a young girl, I recall memories of my mama reading stories to me.  Stories of Cinderella, Goodnight Moon and many others surrounded me at night, and the comforts of mama's voice combined with those incredible stories made their permanent residence within my core.

Now that I am a mom, I find her voice peeking through my own as I read to my own girls, and love that they love the written word as much as I do.  I find that as much as they are finding their own books to love, I am so happy when I find a children's book that I love too.  You know, one I don't mind reading over and over to my girls.  With that being said, it is important that I introduce my first children's book author that I recommend to all parents.

I would like to introduce Wendy Nystrom, Author of 'James Saves the Moon'.She currently has two books with the characters from this first, and from the moment I read it, I knew this was a book I'd pass along to my children.  The characters are strong and I fell in love with the book so much that I could hardly wait when I found out there would be a second.

What I love about Wendy's stories is that you immediately become involved with the characters and want to follow them on these amazing adventures.  Her imagination is limitless, and I am happy to announce she will be having a third book in the series releasing soon.

Wendy tells me that she fell in love with all types of books, and began writing after living in Iceland for a while.  There she found inspiration for her characters, and never looked back.   "Her writing style is, Imagine yourself sitting around a campfire deep in the mountains with a huge moon above. The mountain outlined all around while the story teller weaves a tale of adventure with a splash of fun as a pebble skips across the water. You can keep up with Wendy's writing adventures at her blog wendysbookcase.com, facebook https://www.facebook.com/Wendysbookcase and twitter/wbnystrom."

I know parents, book lovers and those of all ages will fall in love with Wendy's writing style.  To find her books with Anchor Group Publishing, you can visit these links on Amazon:

Happy writing/reading!
