Introducing Karen Pokras Toz, Author

You know there are certain moments in an author's life when he or she feels humbled. For me, it was having the honor of getting to know Karen Pokras Toz, the author of the amazing series 'Nate Rocks'. You see, after signing on with Anchor Group Publishing and meeting some of the most amazing authors, I have to admit I felt a bit starstruck when I learned that Karen was signing onto Anchor Group as well. I recalled buying and reading her first book 'Nate Rocks the World' to my own children over a year before, and immediately recognized her name. When I met her, I realized that she was down to earth, yet extremely talented. Now, I feel honored though at times still starstruck to be working with her. I feel honored to introduce this amazing author to you all. Karen Pokras Toz has several titles to her credit: author of the wonderful Nate Rocks series, 'Millicent Marie is not my name', and now has stepped out of her Middle Grade box and written a fantastic book for adults, 'Chasing Invisible'. There are several Nate Rocks titles, and each provide amazing stories that will touch the heart and soul. I know once you all read one, you'll fall in love with Nate and want to read more. Along with her amazing titles, she was also awarded with the Grand Prize in the 2012 Purple Dragonfly Book Awards (so cool!) and First place for a Global E-book Award for Pre-Teen Literature! What might surprise you to learn about this talented author though is that she never imagined she would become a successful author. Karen always knew she had a gift for math! She always had a love of reading, but never truly envisioned herself as a writer, yet here I must say I am so thankful she took the path of writing. Karen is an extremely talented author, and I know everyone who reads her will fall in love with every character she creates. When she isn't writing or reading, Karen is taking care of her three children. Now, she is also working on several projects with writing, so you must follow her, as I know you will love her work as much as I do.
