Go Green in Bloomingdale and Riverview 1 Drop at a Time

Find out how you can save water while going easier on your wallet at the same time.

Just because April’s Water Conservation Month is winding down doesn’t mean Bloomingdale and Riverview residents can’t keep the spirit of the observance alive year-round.

Doing so saves water for dry times and it can help cut a utility bill down to size.

"If we don’t conserve, we’re pouring water — and money — down the drain," the Southwest Florida Water Management District points out on its website. "It is estimated that each person in our region uses an average of 111 gallons of water each day. You can reduce your water consumption by taking just a few simple steps."

About Water Restrictions

All Tampa Bay counties, including Hillsborough, are currently under mandatory water restrictions. Keeping up with the rules also helps conserve water and it could save you from facing costly fines, too.
