5 Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Get your green on for a weekend of Irish food, Irish drink and Irish entertainment in Bloomingdale-Riverview.

The Guinness is flowing. So is the green beer.

St. Patrick's Day is Sunday, March 17, but Irish-themed parties already have started at some local bars and pubs. Here are five places celebrating:

: Beer
specials, including $6 pitchers of green beer, all weekend. Also
there's a special St. Patrick's Day menu. The party starts today!

2.) JF Kicks, 3345 Lithia Pinecrest Road, Valrico: This St. Paddy's party starts  Saturday night and runs until early Monday morning at neighborhood pub JF Kicks in Valrico. DJs will be spinning music inside and outside on
the patio and you can count on the Guinness to be flowing all night.

3.) : Are iguanas Irish? Maybe just the green ones. Stop in for $4 Guinness and Jameson shots all weekend long, starting tonight. There will be live music all weekend, too. Last call is 3 a.m.

4.)  Beef O'Brady's, 9622 U.S. 301 and :
Green beer for the grown-ups, face painting and other activities
for the kids. Corned beef and cabbage for everyone. Now adults can celebrate without hiring a babysitter.

5.) : This Irish-themed celebration has corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, lots of beer. But it features a truck show, a classic car show and a beer-chugging contest.
