Newborns in Need, Central West Florida Chapter in Valrico, a nonprofit organization, is holding a working meeting Saturday, Dec. 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico, Volunteers are invited to knit, crochet, sew or quilt baby items for premature babies for the economically disadvantaged. Donations of baby items such as sleepers, wipes, Ivory soap, socks and booties for preemies are welcome. Meetings are held on the third Saturday monthly.
