The Sacrilegious Left and the Sodomizing of America

    As I’m writing this, the United States Supreme Court is considering the validity of sodomitic “marriage.” Specifically, the court is hearing a challenge to the
will of California’s voters who voted in favor of a ban on sodomitic “marriage,”
as well as the the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act, one of the
few good things to come out of the eight year-long dog’n’pony show that was the
Clinton regime. The repercussions of the court’s decision, however, will ripple
well beyond the borders of California.

     Perhaps you remember – and it wasn’t all that long ago – when there was a distinction drawn between “civil unions” or “domestic partnerships” for homosexuals and genuine marriage as it exists between one man and one woman. The reasons given for sodomites being able to register were typically along the lines of, “Oh, this way if one ‘partner’ ends up in the hospital, the other can make decisions on their behalf,” or for property or survivorship rights. Very legalistic, such reasoning was, and made to sound oh-so-reasonable. Marriage, it was insisted, would never be subject to any attempts at redefinition. 

     We’ve also heard such criticisms of marriage as an institution as, “Well, if marriage between one man and one woman is so great, then why do half of all marriages end in divorce?”

     Someone will have to explain to me the logic behind using the high incidence of a bad thing like divorce as a basis and justification for another bad thing like
sodomitic “marriage.”

     “Times change,” people say. God and godly ways, however, do not change. Society can change with the times and label homosexual relationships as “marriage,” but I can spend the entire day calling a banana an apple, but it’s still not an apple. Marriage is an institution created by God Himself. Society can disregard and ignore the Bible all it wants, but the truth is still the absolute truth.

     “Have ye not read,” Jesus Himself said in the nineteenth chapter of Matthew, “that He who made man from the beginning, Made them male and female? And He said: for this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be in one flesh.”

     Not mere coincidence, is it, that it takes a man and a woman, contributing respectively a sperm and an egg, to make “one flesh.” Were you to put two homosexuals on a deserted island by themselves, once assurance I can make is that the population of the island will never rise above two.

     Surely, I can’t be the only one who’s noticed, in the last twelve or fifteen years or so, how our children have been pop-culturally desensitized and reprogrammed away from traditional and faithbased values that regarded homosexual behavior as aberrant and degenerate, and most certainly immoral. Remember how Ellen DeGenerate was packaged and sold through her sitcom? Now she’s got a popular – with the intellectually-impaired, at any rate – afternoon talk show. She’s had a lot to do with making homosexuality acceptable to a much larger segment of society than had previously been the case.

     Rosie O’Donnell, who beside being a lesbian and anti-Second Amendment shill  is also a posterchild for tectonic plate shift, was sold to our children as a host of Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards show. You don’t think it’s by mere coincidence?

     Public schools now have, as part of their “club days,” groups labeled “gay student alliances” and such. There are also “days of silence” on which members of such clubs don’t speak, but spend the day wearing a sign in silent protest against
how unfairly homosexuals are treated.

     Generation by generation, the Sacrilegious Left – through pop culture, through hijacking the education system on all levels – has chipped away and chipped away at the Bible-based Christian moral foundation that’s been the bedrock of our society since its inception. There used to be a time when we worshipped God, when we worshipped His Son, Jesus Christ, at the altar. Now there are those who prefer to worship at the altar of their own genitalia, and those who choose to enable them.

     Karl Rove, former deputy chief-of-staff to President George W. Bush, said recently he could imagine the next GOP presidential nominee endorsing sodomitic “marriage.” From the standpoint of genuine conservative values, however, Rove has consistently proven himself to be as worthless as any other RINO (Republican In Name Only) who’s contaminated the GOP in the last quarter-of-a-century.

     Speaking of RINOs, US Senator Rob Portman of Ohio, previously a consistent opponent of the sodomitic agenda, recently announced he’d changed his stance on sodomitic “marriage,” saying he was now in favor of it. Why this sudden shift on such a fundamental issue?

     His son had come out of the closet as homosexual.

     So much for Portman’s values. The role of a Christian father is to provide a reflection of Christian principles for his children. Portman, rather, has allowed his son to set the tone in a way contrary to Christian principles. And this was a guy
who’d been seriously considered as a Republican vice presidential nominee a
year ago? Leadership? Not from a man who can’t provide proper Christian
leadership to his own family.

     What’s come as no surprise whatsoever was when Dictator’n’Thief Barack Hussein Obama declared that he’d “evolved” into a supporter of sodomitic “marriage.” There’ve long been allegations of Obama having maintained membership in “Man Country,” a Chicago-area homosexual bath house, and that he’d been part of an effort by his pastor, the infamous Jeremiah Wright, to try to straighten out homosexual black men, even to the point of finding them wives.

     Obama, unfortunately, is missing a golden opportunity. Rather than endorsing sodomitic “marriage,”  he could be killing two birds with one stone. Remember how he was blathering about "shovel-ready jobs"? I would suggest he do one more stimulus package that would help a segment of the economy and properly address the homosexual issue. The stimulus package would hire unemployed carpenters across the country and put them to work building nice, brand new closets for the sodomites to go back into!

     Also apparently “evolving” on the issue of late has been former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and, more notably, her husband, former president and paragon of marital fidelity Bill Clinton, he who signed into law the aforementioned
Defense of Marriage Act.

     We’ve done this to ourselves, incrementally but steadily. The problem isn’t the flaming leftist freaks, misfits, and malcontents who, to no one’s surprise, support the Sacrilegious Left. The problem isn’t even sodomites like former congressmen like Barney Frank of Taxachusetts and Mark Foley of Florida, who are queerer than football bats, or New Jersey’s Jim McGreavy, who decided he’d rather be queen than governor. Little by little, we’ve elected those who, at best, call themselves conservative. But are they fiscal conservatives? Are they faithbased
conservatives? And if they claim the title of “Christian,” is it mere lip service, or does the way they live their life and the policies reflected in how they do their elected duties reflect genuine Christian teaching?

     We’ve also done this to ourselves by the school boards we elect, the curricula we allow in our schools that amount to an agenda contrary to the values which we’ve sought to instill in our children, and even some teachers who indoctrinate our children, sometimes in very subtle fashion, rather than educate them.

     We’ve done this to ourselves by the mass media we allow within our homes. Look at the more popular TV shows, network and cable both, and how many of them at least have a homosexual character in the cast. Some of these shows are quite open about championing the sodomitic “lifestyle.” Even something as idiotic as that mindless Simpsons cartoon had an episode in which the moronic Homer Simpson got ordained a minister so he could make some money “marrying” sodomites. Too many parents are all, “Oh, ha ha ha! It’s only a cartoon!” and allow their children to watch such garbage. They don’t even begin to discern that wrapping such filth in the guise of “humor” is merely a vehicle by which is delivered a very stealthy and insidious bombardment against our Christian values. It’s nothing sudden or dramatic, but rather a slow, steady, constant, insidious assault.

     In my fifty-one years, years spent engaged to varying but constant degrees in the political arena, whether as an activist, a columnist, and even as a candidate,
but always – always – filtering every issue through the filter of Biblical principle and Church teaching first and foremost, followed by a strict constructionist regard for Constitutional principle, the changes I’ve witnessed have been as breathtaking as they’ve been appalling. From a country that loved and worshipped God, revered our Constitution, our heritage, and our history, and which had the motivation, the work ethic, and the get-it-done attitude that put the US on top of the world economically, within my lifetime this country’s become contaminated in too many quarters with a loathing of God, with a seething disdain for any feeling of obligation to live within Scripturally-prescribed parameters, and love of country has been eroded by a disregard for our heritage and history as something archaic and illicit handed down to us by a bunch of evil, white slave-owners. And the generations that put the US on top, especially the World War II generation that beat tyranny and oppression across the globe, then came home to marry, raise families, and work? That generation’s been increasingly replaced by slackers, deadbeats, and lay-abouts who’ve got their hands out for welfare, foodstamps, “Obamacare,” and “Obamaphones” – and who’s picking up the tab? Those of us who still have a work ethic, who don’t mind working, who love God and this country, or who at least love the memory of what this country used to be.

     The good news is, all the signs seem to bepointing to Jesus coming back sooner more likely than later, I’m thinking.  He’ll sort out everything. What’s
ridiculous, though, is that tomorrow, for instance, if Jesus came back down and
set foot on Mt. Olivet in Bethany, and it was carried live on all the cable channels and network news shows, many would be those who’d still deny and oppose Him.

     So is what’s being hashed out in the Supreme Court what they mean by “the new normal”? There's nothing new about it and certainly nothing normal either. It’s nothing more than the same old perverse and sinful. May God have mercy on us all.
