See you at the Spring Jubilee

Families and friends gather to share good wholesome fun and delicious food

As Catholics, Easter is more than a day—it is a Season of Joy. One of the best ways you can share in the peace and joy of the Risen Lord is to enjoy the day with your family at our annual Spring Jubilee. I love the Spring Jubilee, as families and friends gather to share good wholesome fun and delicious food. Whether you are into hair-raising rides, fun midway games, or wonderful entertainment, there is something for everyone!

Of course, the Spring Jubilee is more than just a fun parish event. It is an important way of raising funds for the Catholic education and formation of our youth. This year, we are also supporting Cross International and their efforts to ensure clean drinking water in developing countries.

Last but not least, the Spring Jubilee is also an incredible opportunity for us to share the good news of St. Stephen. Our many guests are impressed by our warmth and friendliness, our generosity and our hospitality, and the many ways we reflect our rich faith and love for God!

I thank God for all of our faithful volunteers and patrons who have helped to make this year’s Spring Jubilee one of our best ever. May God bless you one and all!

On a much sadder note, Patrick Albert our maintenance director, has recently undergone surgery for cancer and is now on permanent disability. The Spring Jubilee Ragin’ Cajun Benefit Cook-Off to benefit Patrick and his family will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. Please keep Patrick, his wife and four sons as well as all those who struggle with chronic and life threatening illness in your prayers.
