The Bridges Retirement Community, 11202 Dewhurst Dr., Riverview, partnering with Brandon Regional Hospital and the Campo Family YMCA, is hosting a "lunch and learn" event on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Dr. Michael Miranda, an orthopedic surgeon on staff at Brandon Regional Hospital and practicing at Florida Orthopedic Institute, will provide information about the causes of and treatment for knee pain. In addition, the film, "Age of Champions," will be shown. This inspiring documentary follows a group of athletes, all 65 years or older, who are chasing the gold medal at the National Senior Games.
