Christmas Tree Lot Opens

For 48 years, Brandon residents have returned each holiday season to the tree lot at First United Methodist Church in Brandon for fresh Christmas trees. This year, the lot reopens Friday, Nov. 25 with extended hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day only. All proceeds from tree lot sales go to support the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home. Gift certificates are available so you can buy a tree to give to a family who might not otherwise be able to afford one.

The tree lot will be open seven days a week from 3:30-8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m to 8 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The First Methodist Christmas Tree lot has a new location this year - across the street from the sanctuary at 208 N, Knights Ave. (one block north of Brandon Boulevard between Kings and Parsons avenues).
