Village Family Foundation to Present Halloween in the Halls

The event will take place Oct. 27 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Village Early Learning Center.

The Village Family Foundation presents Halloween in the Halls. The Halloween spectacular takes place at 3741 Canoga Park Dr. in Brandon on Oct. 27 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The Village Family Foundation plans to make this event a stand-out from ordinary Halloween activities by bringing in a mélange of family and holiday fun while drawing awareness to its commendable charity.

“We want to provide services and experiences that will connect our families and the community- to offer support where it is needed, “stated Susan Miller, the owner of the Village Early Learning Center. “It really means a lot to partner with the Village Family Foundation to ensure that both the organization and its families get the well-deserved attention.”

The Village Family Foundation, VFF, is excited to bring its second annual Halloween in the Halls event to the greater Brandon area, where the nonprofit plans to make its biggest impact. The foundation has strong beliefs in child and community engagement. This belief has helped build a strong tie to The Village Early Learning Center, which is also celebrating its 12th annual Costume Crusade, an event that takes place the day before Halloween in the Halls.

“We are thrilled that Susan has allowed us to partner with her long tradition of Costume Crusade,” said Ann Williams, executive committee member of VFF. “This reinforces our mission of enriching the lives of children through events as fun as this one.”

Halloween in Halls will kick off at 5 p.m. and is appropriate for families and children ages 12 and under. The admission fee is a $5 donation per family that will go toward future VFF initiatives. The event is expected to be a child-friendly, haunted house atmosphere that has a carnival element. There will be a haunted room along with plenty of games, trick-or- treating and food. VFF is thankful for this opportunity and hopes to increase the number of small donations made from this event.
