Bloomingdale and Riverview residents considering membership to one of the area's YMCA's can get three free visits by signing up online.

 

Bloomingdale and Riverview residents who want to check out one of the area’s YMCAs can do so without putting money down for membership right away.

The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCAs offer a free trial membership that includes three visits annually, according to the Y’s website. All residents need to do to sign up is fill out an online form to be able to check out any of the YMCAs at no charge.

  • Bob Sierra Family YMCA / Youth and Family Center — The "Campo Branch Menu" of offerings online features a host of programs, including aquatics, basketball, teen sports, volleyball and more. Also online, information about leadership development, wellness and personal training and parents' night out. The Campo Family YMCA is at 3414 Culbreath Road in Valrico. Call: 813-684-1371.
  • Camp Christina — The 65-acre outdoor center hosts day camps for rising first- through 10th-graders. As noted, "The natural world provides an almot 'fool-proof' place to create new memories, gain a new vocabulary of experiences, and new friends to share them with." To sign up for three free visits, just visit the YMCA online. The site gives access to other Y locations in the Tampa Bay area.
