Sedgebrook Drive Noted in Boyette Road Work Announcements

As always, keep your eyes open for new traffic patterns, and road closures, along Boyette Road.

 

Traffic-patttern changes are nothing new for gridlock-weary motorists along Boyette Road as construction work continues.

A sign along the route, near Bells Shoals Road, announces the work that is ongoing near and on Sedgebrook Drive. The sign, as noted Sunday, April 21, notes that the road is closed and that new traffic patterns start April 25.

Hillsborough County officials place online announcements about constrution on local roads. The latest update, posted April 16, notes the following items of interest to drivers in the Bloomingdale-Riverview and Greater Brandon area:

Hillsborough County Road Closures
(Last updated, April 16, 2013. Note that changes can be made on a daily basis.)

  • Sedgebrook Drive, from Boyette Road to Crispwood Court, for reclaiming/resurfacing work on Sedgebrook Drive, through April 24. Alternate route: Sedgebrook Drive to Tarragon Drive to Boyette Road to Sedgebrook Drive.
  • Hilltop Road, from Brandon Boulevard to Oakfield Drive, for sand pond drainage improvements, through April 24. Alternate route: South Hilltop Road to Oakfield Drive to Morrison Road to State Road 60/Brandon Boulevard to Hilltop Road.
  • Krycul Avenue, from U.S. Highway 301 to Lake St. Charles Boulevard, for water line installation/tap, from 9 a.m. April 24 to 5 p.m. April 26. Alternate route: Krycul Avenue to U.S. Highway 301 to Lake St. Charles Boulevard to Krycul Avenue.
  • Pine Street, from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Clay Pit Road, for roadway construction, April 23, from 9 am. to 4 p.m. Alternate route: Pine Street to State Road 574/Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Clay Pit Road to Pine Street.
