Get Healthy; Brandon Hospital Offers Free Classes

Brandon Regional Hospital has scheduled a series of health education community events open to the public.

Brandon Regional Hospital  is hosting a series of health education workshops, series and seminars open to the public. Topics in October include special programs for women and new parents, for people with diabetes and for those who wish to lose weight.

All events will be held in the Oakfield Medical Plaza on the campus of Brandon Regional Hospital, at 119 Oakfield Dr., unless otherwise noted.

  • Fit for Baby Prenatal Exercise Class – Oct. 16, 6:30 p.m., Oakfield Medical Plaza, Suite 262
  • Gestational Diabetes – Oct. 18 and 25, 8:30 a.m., Oakfield Medical Plaza, Suite 258
  • Prenatal Tour – Oct. 14 at 3 p.m.; Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m., Brandon Regional Hospital, Women’s Center Lobby
  • Prepared Childbirth – Oct. 13 and 20, 9 a.m., Oakfield Medical Plaza, Suite 260
  • Newborn Care Class – Oct. 15 at 6 p.m., Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m., Oakfield Medical Plaza, Suite 262
