5 Things to Know Today, July 28

1.Residents are invited to explore the works of various artists while enjoying live music, wine and hors d'oeuvres when the Beaux Arts Gallery at 11252 Winthrop Main St. in Winthrop Town Centre, Riverview, officially reopens today, July 28, from 7-9:30 p.m.

This first show will feature the works of Plant City artist Debra Bryant as well as works by her photographer husband, Mike, Plant City sculptor Robert Woods and guest artist Katherine Reina of Brandon.

2. St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Road, hosts bingo the second and fourth Thursday of the month in the church's multipurpose room. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and play starts at 6:30 p.m. Dinner, snacks and desserts are available for an additional fee. The cost to play bingo is $15 for 20 games.

3. Meowy Hour will be held July 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Joia Fabulous Pizza & Martini Bar courtyard, 10475 Gibsonton Drive, Riverview. This event is sponsored by Dr. Kimberly Tyson of 4 Paws Veterinary Hospital. The event will benefit a Cat Call Inc. There will be free samples and live music by Gabe. Call 813-672-3687.

4. The Money Source chapter of Business Networking International meets Thursdays from 7:15 to 9 a.m. at River Hills Country Club, 3943 New River Hills Parkway, Valrico. It welcomes business professionals from the community to learn about generating referrals.

5. Jazzy 9- and 10-year-olds are invited to learn jazz dancing at the Bloomingdale West Recreation Center, 3940 Canoga Park Drive, Brandon, today from 6 to 7 p.m.
