The 'Gandolfini Burger' Shows Up On Local Menu
The newly named burger features Capicola, marinara and is stuffed with Italian cheeses.
When news broke of the death of "Sopranos" star James Gandolfini, reactions flooded news sites and social media. Even though Gandolfini never visited our area, he had many fans. Clearly, some of them work at Stein & Vine on Bloomingdale Avenue.
"I think the Godfather burger shall be henceforth known as 'The Gandolfini,'" was posted on their Facebook page last night. The post received 115 likes and then today, a photo of the menu featuring the renamed menu item was posted to the Facebook page.
The newly named burger features Capicola, marinara and is stuffed with Italian cheeses.
Among the comments on the post, Tampa Tribune food writer Jeff Houck had a great line.
"Woke up this morning, got myself a bun," he wrote.
