Supreme Court Justice Headlines Riverview Chamber Luncheon

Florida Supreme Court Justice Peggy Quince spoke about Florida's Judicial Merit Retention issue at the monthly luncheon Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 6437 Watson Rd., Riverview.

Hosted by the , the buffet luncheon was catered by Lupton's Restaurant & Catering and was attended by approximately 170 members and guests. Hunter invited Quince, the first black woman to serve on Florida’s Supreme Court.

New and renewing chamber members also were recognized including American General Life and Accident Insurance Co., Complete Essence Massage & Spa, Joy Green, C-U Connected, G&K of Drew Street Inc. d/b/a Peck’s Flame Broiled Chicken, Juice Plus+, McNeil Management Services Inc., New Directions Orchestra, Riverview High School Athletic Booster Club, St. Joseph’s Hospital South, West Coast Jewelry Consultants.

The next chamber luncheon will be Sept. 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be sponsored by Thatcher Properties. The cost is $10 for members who RSVP, $12 without an RSVP and $15 for nonmembers.
