The South Shore Corporate Park near State 674 and Interstate 75 is among the Florida locations being eyed by the online shopping giant.

The commission will discuss the Qualified Targeted Industry job creation incentive at its June 19 regular board meeting and the ad valorem tax exemption at its July 17 meeting.

In addition to bringing 1,000 jobs to Hillsborough County, the fulfillment center will create seasonal temporary employment opportunities and is expected to generate up to $200 million in capital investments, including a 1-million-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility.

The agenda item for the June 19 meeting can be accessed online on the Hillsborough County Government website.
