Plaza Bella to Celebrate Christmas in July

The hot, humid weather may say otherwise. But to the merchants at Plaza Bella on Bloomingdale Avenue in Valrico, it's the season for giving.

Merchants at Plaza Bella will celebrate Christmas in July Friday, July 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. (Green Boutique will be open until 8 p.m.)

Customers are invited to get a jump on the holiday season with , and

Customers will enjoy a wine tasting by Cork & Olive, appetizers and live jazz music from saxophone player Jerry Kenny and singer Velvet Leonard. There will be faffles and holiday item previews at each venue.

In addition, the merchants are asking everyone to bring a donation for A Kid's Place, a local organization that supports kids in need in the community. Needs include nonperishable foodsm laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets, all-purpose spray cleaner, paper towels, Windex, Lysol Spray, floor cleaner, hair-care products (shampoo, detangle spray, cream rinse, combs and brushes), diapers, sippy cups, toddler bibs, toddler silverware and plastic dishes, batteries (for baby swings and musical toys) AA and D, baby wipes.
