Summertime and lemonade, and the picture forms in your mind. Now, take that image — of homemade drink and childhood entrepreneurship — and throw into the mix an opportunity to support the Children's Cancer Center and you've got all you need to know about the Panera Bread charity drive this weekend.
Except for these details:
- Panera's Lemon-Aid Stands will be in operation Friday, July 27, and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Panera Bread locations at the shopping mall — and in Plant City, Riverview, and Valrico — are among the Panera bakery-cafes in Florida geared up to support local charities with $1-priced donations for "home-style lemonade at Panera's Lemon-Aid Stands."
- Additionally, all money collected in July through Panera's on-site "Operation Dough-Nation" boxes will be matched and donated to the Children's Cancer Center.
- Eastern Hillsborough County Panera locations are in Brandon (504 Brandon Town Center), Plant City (2909 James L. Redman Pkwy.), Riverview (10635 Big Bend Road) and Valrico (3482 Lithia Pinecrest Road).
