New Restaurant Planned In Riverview

The name and the concept for the new restaurant will be announced soon.

Big Three Restaurants Inc. announced that it has submitted an offer to lease 2,600-plus-square feet of space in the Pavilion Crossing Shopping Plaza in Riverview.

The lease term is for five years with one option of an additional five years. 

Anchored by Publix Super Market, Pavilion Crossing Shopping Plaza is located on U.S. 301 and Falkenburg Road.

"The company is planning to launch its own restaurant brand," said John V. Whitman Jr., the company's chief executive officer. "We have been aggressively searching for locations which have the demographic mix that will optimize our success. We will be announcing very soon the exact name and concept of our new restaurant business."

Based in Orlando, Big Three Restaurants develops and acquires respected restaurant franchise brands, upscale family dining and theme-style restaurants.

On March 1, Big Three acquired Mango's Restaurant & Bar in Fort Lauderdale. And it recently signed a letter of intent to purchase nine Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants, one Taco Bell and one Long John Silver franchise.
