Land Cleared On Bloomingdale Avenue, Here's What's Coming
Motorists traveling Bloomingdale Avenue, west of Bell Shoals Road, view the cleared out land across the street from Southern Technical College.
Nestled between private roads named Marianne Drive and Maze Lane, in front of the Surgi-Care Center for Horses and across the street from Southern Technical College, land has been cleared for a new business off Bloomingdale Avenue in Brandon.
Coming soon, according to a sign posted at 609 East Bloomingdale Ave., is another Budget Self Storage, scheduled to open in Spring 2014, according to an online notice.

"Our new Bloomingdale facility will offer flexible, cost-effective storage solutions, for households, individuals and businesses," the website notice reads.
According to the posted sign, Budget Self Storage, next door to Urgent Care, will feature climate-control units, drive-up units, RV and boat parking, gate access and video surveillance. The business, as noted, is locally owned. Call: 813-657-7744.
Also posted on the site is a sign noting a "personal appearance" public hearing set for Sept. 10 at 9 a.m. The application number is PRS 13-0589. For information, call 813-276-2006.
