Introducing Our Newest Patch Associate, Liz McGonigle

Liz McGonigle is the new advertising manager for the Bloomingdale-Riverview, Brandon, South Tampa-Old Hyde Park and Seminole Heights Patch sites.

There's a new face representing the Bloomingdale-Riverview, Brandon, South-Tampa-Old Hyde Park and Seminole Heights Patch sites. Liz McGonigle is the newest advertising manager at Patch.

McGonigle is a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., and attended Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Mich., where she played soccer and pursued a degree in communication.

Lured by the warm weather and beaches, she relocated to Tampa Bay in 2004 after her second year of college to continue her education at the University South Florida.

She has a background in sales, advertising, administration and real estate management.

McGonigle said she has a passion for helping others and building strong business relationship within her community. Her mission is to serve as many businesses as she can through her outreach and advertising efforts.

"What excites me about Patch is that it's doing something unique; Patch is bringing communities back together," said McGonigle. "In a world that's largely digital, we've forgotten to care for neighbors and local businesses. Patch is changing that. It's an exciting time for Patch and I am so thankful to be a part of such a wonderful movement. It gives me such joy to work for a company with such an honorable purpose."

McGonigle said she's looking forward to getting out and meeting with local business owners in the community and sharing what Patch has to offer.

"I'm excited to meet you and help your business grow," she said. "I look forward to working closely with your business to enhance your advertising experience through Patch."

In her nonworking hours, McGonigle enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Buddy, traveling, camping and hiking, boating, dressing up, volunteering and supporting animal rights.

McGonigle can be contacted at Liz.McGonigle@patch.com or 813-508-1168.
