owners Christopher and Kimberly Woods announced yesterday that they will close their store at 1026 Bloomingdale Ave. in Plaza Bella.

However, the popular consignment and Christian clothing store for teens and tweens isn't going out of business.

"We're going to switch to an online store," said Kimberly Woods. "We're still going to be local and sell all the same merchandise but we'll be doing it all online."

Woods said the storefront will close June 23 and they hope to have the online store up and running by July 14. The online store will offer pick-up and drop-off services for clients and will continue to include purchases as well as consignments.

"With tough economic times comes the need for creative adaptation, and we will continue to provide this community with an excellent and unique shopping experience with our all new online cash and consignment store," said Woods.

In the meantime, the Woods are urging all customers with fully punched rewards cards to take advantage of any store credit they might have.

"To say the very least, we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to serve this community over the past two years," said Woods. "We would like to extend our most sincere thank-you to all who have supported us through this journey."

For the convenience of their customers, the Woods will transfer all current customer email information into the new online store.

Current customers will receive a "welcome" email from the Woods containing a link to the new store and other information.

"We really feel OK about this," said Woods. "We're just going to regroup, and we're excited to proceed with the next step."
