You never know what bargains you'll find when you shop at Agape Chic Boutique.

Friends Dena Ham and Stacy Ulrey Regan opened this upscale consignment boutique in 2010 and it has proven wildly popular with customers seeking designer fashions at discount prices.

The stock is always changing as new consignors bring in barely worn clothing, purses and shoes. At any given time, you can find Coach purses, Prada shoes and Chanel dresses at Agape Chic at a range of prices.

These clever faux fur boot toppers are the invention of Riverview resident and interior design consultant Laurel Barnhart.

"I loved the fur-topped boots in the fashion magazines so I decided to find a way to add faux fur to the top of my boots," said Barnhart. She came up with her patent-pending "boot socks." Simply slip them on over your jeans or leggings, add your boots and then fold over the cuff.

"It changed the look of the boots I already had without going through the expense of buying a new pair of fur-topped boots," said Barnhart, adding that the boot socks can be worn with either ankle or knee-high boots and can be handwashed and line dried.

The fur boot cuffs sell on Barnhart's website for $39.99 and come in a variety of furs including black and white mink, gray foxtail, tan and gray chinchilla, black feather fur, artic fox, foxtail and zebra.

Barnhart also sells pom-pom boot socks in favorite team colors for $19.99.

Boot lovers can accent their boots with Barnhart's boot chains and charms for $11.99. The boot socks have a special feature hidden under the cuff where boot bling can be added.
