Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair Slated Oct. 4 at Raymond James Stadium
The job fair is for military job seekers, veterans and their families. Here's what you need to know.
For active-duty military personnel, the prospect of leaving the service and seeking a job in the private sector can be disheartening in today's economic climate.
However, RecruitMilitary, a veteran-founded full-service military-to-civilian recruiting firm is making it easy for military personnel and veterans to land a job.
RecruitMilitary is inviting current military personnel, veterans and spouses to a free career fair at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is part of a nationwide effort called "Hiring Our Heroes" presented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with its recruiting partner, RecruitMilitary.

According to RecruitMilitary, 762 current and former serviceman have already registered for the event featuring 43 exhibitors (see chart below). This is the 12 career fair to be held in Tampa. Prior fairs attracted 3,925 attendees and 320 exhibitors.
Since launching in 2011, the Hiring Our Heroes program has held 455 events around the nation with 13,399 exhibitors and 266,507 attendees.
