Gumballs and Overalls Launches Model Search

The winners will have photo sessions with Riverview photographer Stacy Larsen.

Do you have a photogenic youngster?

Gumballs and Overalls, the new children's clothing and accessories store in Valrico, is seeking models for an upcoming Gumballs and Overalls store photo shoot with local photographer Stacy Larsen (stacylarsenphotography.com).

The store is looking for photos of both boys and girls age newborn to 8 years old. Photos will be posted on Gumballs and Overalls' Facebook page and the model with the most "likes" will get to keep their entire modeling outfit from the store. Located at 3468 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd. in Lithia Crossings behind Panera Bread, Gumballs and Overalls opened Aug. 10. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

It features an array of handmade dresses, custom totes, jewelry, cloth diaper covers and current hot items such as handmade I-Spy bags.

Owner Tammy Hicks also welcomes items from local crafters in the 2,000-square-foot store.

Hooks plans to have a weekly story time at the store, baby sign language classes, lactation classes and other events on a regular basis.

Stacy Larsen of Stacy Larsen Photography is located in Winthrop Town Centre.

Larsen specializes in photographing her subjects in an environment they feel comfortable in. She said she strives to develop a relationship with each customer so she can capture “the essence of who they are."
