Downtown Divas Going Out of Business

During these tough economic times, the Bloomingdale-Riverview area is losing another small business.

Camille Schwabe, owner of Downtown Divas, 6128 Winthrop Town Centre Ave., Riverview, has announced that she will close her clothing boutique.

She is offering 60 percent off everything in the store through Dec. 16. Downtown Divas will be open until Dec. 23.

"Don't be sad," Schwabe told her customers on Facebook. "It's been a great ride. Wear your treasures and remember me."

As for her future plans, Schwabe said,"You never know were I might turn up."

Schwabe took over the store four years ago, offering high-end fashions and accessories to women in the area. During that time, Schwabe built up a faithful clientele who said they'll be sad to see the store close.

Until Dec. 23, though, Schwabe invites shoppers to check out her going out of business sale.

"We still have some great stuff -- holiday dresses, business casual, camis and tops," said Schwabe.
